Early riser

I'm always up pretty early. I like to take the dogs to the vineyard at sunrise, walk them, then water the vegetable garden and harvest the crops of the day.

Ali is not an early riser. She peaks just as I'm fading at the end of the day.

So imagine my surprise when I returned home this morning at 8am to find Ali up and eager to get on with painting this bench. I think it looks lovely.
