Rescue helicopter

Staying with my sister in a caravan in Burghead. We were having breakfast when this helicopter came close over the caravan site. It was doing wide sweeps over a large area. I took several and this one was as it came into land. You can see hoe close to the caravans. We thought it was an exercise but heard on the radio they were looking for someone.

Left my sister and drove to the RSPB reserve near Peterhead. Saw a large flock of mute swans, Dunlin, lapwings, female Golden Eye, tufted ducks and greenshanks.

Now in Aberdeen to meet up with an old school friend tomorrow.
