It's been really interesting to see the Olympic site develop over the last couple of years. The trains in to London from my parent's house, and now also from my house, run through Stratford, so I've been able to see all stages of the construction from the line. Now, just a few days before the games open, the park must be complete. I'm prepared for today being my last 'normal' commute for quite a few weeks. Hopefully the horror-story predictions of waiting times and general chaos won't come true (yeah, right).
