More canal life

Despite the hot weather -or maybe because of it- I feel like I have lost all inspiration at the moment. I know I really should not complain but today was a bit hot for me!

Caught this quick snap of the canal in the centre of Banbury on my way back from a master planning workshop in which the canal was identified as part of the cultural identity of Banbury. Its never really made the most of it. It certainly is nice to see so much life on the canal in the summer but as you get out of the town centre its a bit of an industrial wasteland.

I think I have said before how fond I have grown of Banbury since I've
worked there but it still has a real down at heel feel in parts which could relatively easily be a vibrant and historical hub.
