Planes, Trains and Automobiles
We headed off to the Pilatus loop today - just outside Lucerne. It started with the world's steepest cog railway up to the top of the Pilatus mountain, which goes up to a 48% incline. Wheeeeee!
At the top we had an ice cream, watched an air ambulance land, and took in the breathtaking views. Then off down the other side in a big cable car, with Susie and Louis only being a bit knocked over in the crush.
Half way down we went on the 1.2km summer toboggan. Despite having to queue in the sun for 45 minutes with the world's most jostley woman and her bottom-butting child, it was brilliant fun. Chris clocked 45kmph on the way down. The drag lift back up it was so peaceful - we could have done that all day!
Down the rest of the mountain, then bus and train back to the car (ok, no planes today). Back to the cabin for food and badminton.
Also, we back blipped yesterday's.
We're on international 3G so will comment on our return to WiFi.
