Rannoch Moor

Lochan na h-Achlaise is the name of the water in the foreground of this picture. It was such a beautiful day that I stopped to take photos in Glencoe and of Buachaille Etive Mor but in the end my time spent on Rannoch Moor was the most productive.

It was an absolutely stunning morning and the water was very still, so I trudged from the road to get close to it so I could take some pictures. I'm glad I did as it was fabulous standing by the waters edge looking across at the mountains.
