Marooned! (Me not this chap)

It's raining and blowing a gale outside, so no bike ride this afternoon, and the car is in for service too!
Hence being marooned at home, but at least it gives me a chance to do a small watercolour of a recent sketch I did in the Art Gallery
The main image is obviously a cropped detail and the additional image a slightly bigger view of the image to give you an idea of the size.
Well the telly was pretty boring..... hope you like it!
I was always interested in art, but when leaving school the general feeling was that there was no future in it..I was offered a place at Art College, but Father confirmed my lack of faith with the following conversation.
"So you want to be an Artist?...Hmm, do you like eating?.... better get a job then  lad!"
And that was the end of that dream, oh well, you have to laugh, don't you?
