The last day of May
I was just locking the door on my way out this morning, when I spotted this mayfly on the glass. We get a lot of them around here as strays from the river, as they are aquatic insects. When the sun shines they can normally be found bouncing around on the roof of my car. I think that the ultra-shiny gleaming roof (not!!!) makes them think it's the reflection from the water in the river.
It was actually quite hard to focus as it was on the clear glass. Also I was already on the verge of leaving late for work, so it was a bit of a rushed job.
Thanks to WWombat for hosting Tiny Tuesday (now in its second year).
