The RAF aircraft that brought David Cameron, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach and other associated folk to Orkney today...and has taken them away again ;)

I met a number of really nice and interesting people today, and heard some very moving stories.  The attendees were segregated according to why they were there, so descendents were all together with name badges, giving the name of their ancestor's ship (some people had more than one ancestor in the battle).   We all looked for descendents from the same ship, but most of us seemed to be sole representatives, which I suppose just goes to show how many ships were involved.
