geronimo!

An absolute treat of a day at the Geronimo festival in Tatton Park.  The weather was good and we were at a loose end so we made a last minute decision to try out the children's festival.  I wasn't sure what to expect but we all absolutely loved it - so much for all of us to see and do AND Mr Bloom.  Eve met some of Mr Bloom's vegetables including a baby cauliflower, Beverley.  She even got to give Beverley a cuddle when Mr Bloom enlisted the help of his fans to babysit his veggies.  It was a low rent prop, literally a cauliflower with googly eyes and a nappy, but Eve was totally taken in by the theatre and seemed genuinely starstruck.  BY A CAULIFLOWER.  That fact will please me forever more.

Other highlights were an array of bouncy castles, the Bear Grylls assault course, steam fuelled carousel, helter skelter slide, Dick and Dom (I loved them despite myself) and the inevitable ice cream.  All topped off with a small helping of Morris on the way home.

What a day!
