Windows 10 pain

My mum's broadband connection coupled with her IT skills means I brought her PC home with me yesterday, and will return it this weekend.

The plan was (is?) to tidy it up; speed it up; and try and work out why the Windows 10 install will not install.


Grrrrrr.....

I hate computers!

It gets to around 85% and then ka-boom, rolls back.

It seems to be an issue with migrated the data; so it's probably one of the programs she has installed that is causing the grief.

If it was my computer I would delete everything and start from the basic OS. But it isn't so; I keep making little tweaks and try again.

Current attempt (with most boot services disabled) is at 25%.
