Jedburgh

Stopped in Jedburgh on my way to Newcastle this afternoon.

The Abbey was looking good, but a bit dilapidated. It dates back to the time of King David I (1147 ish) so fair enough.

Being only 10 miles from the border, our cousins from Darn Sarf bear some responsibility, having attacked it so often.

6º cooler in Newcastle than it was at home. 11º compared to 17º.
