Packing my trunk.....

Yesterday, in a moment of frivolity, I wrote on Facebook that I was considering resigning from work, selling my flat, and doing a grand tour of all the places I'd like to see - Venice, Tokyo, Clacton.....

I wasn't being remotely serious (the money would run out before I get to Dover!) but I was amazed at the response I got. Some people decided they were coming with me, some folk gave me financial advice, and others kindly asked me to pop in to see them en route.

The majority though, told me not to hang about, but to sell up and leave as soon as possible.

I'm slightly alarmed that so many people seem delighted at the thought of seeing the back of me!
