The Glow
Today was my first day back from work after a very nice vacation. After 10 hours, I called it quits, went home, grabbed the camera and sat out in the front yard so I could unwind. After a couple of minutes, thick clouds started building to the west but the sun somehow was able to weave it's way through. This created a cool but eery glow around the Crepe Myrtle trees. As this was occurring, this bird landed and just sat there looking at me. I fired off a couple of dozen shots and as the glow started to dissipate, the bird took off.
Hope you are all having a wonderful week and for you birders out there, I would love to know what I blipped today... : ))
