Making Hay while the sun shines

We have had five days of uninterrupted sunshine! Even Peter Florence, founder and director of the Hay Festival commented on it today.
 
It’s been a day of political debates with the EU the main theme. Difficult to tell if the people were for Brexit or not.  Suspect most will be voting to stay in, if the questions asked in the debates were anything to go by.
 
 
Meanwhile it’s also been a day for catching up with family and friends.
Oh yes one event I went to on the accelerated rate of change in our society had the speaker Robert Colvile ask the audience how many had met through Tinder (the online dating site).
The question was  met with a deadly silence.
“Oh well maybe this is not a Hay audience thing,” he said
 
   
I would hazard a guess the majority had never heard of the Tinder app, let alone used it.
