An Outstanding Landing

Merrick and I were watching a mother swan sitting on her eggs, and continuing to build up her nest. Suddenly, a loud swishing sound came from our left.

"Here I come Honey! Daddy's coming home!!"

Not the greatest of landings, but certainly very pretty.

I thought the farm at the Metro Park would have more Spring babies, but there were only 3 young lambs.

Take a look in the extras for a shot of my little adventurer straddling a tree branch. We didn't see any sand-hill cranes.
