I saw this over the weekend along a park trail and was compelled to research the man tonight.
He was originally from Boston, MA and was the forester of Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ.
He died at only 51 of a prolonged illness.
I wonder how many others who did not know him, read this plaque and think about the man.
I wonder how many follow their curiosity to learn more.
I bet there are many.
