Muscles of a different kind

Not that he was flexing them at all.  I think the cold weather was getting to him a bit.  It's not often a wasp will sit still long enough, or let you get close enough to get this kind of detail.

They are not generally aggressive, but I wouldn't want to get tangled up with the business end of this mud wasp.
