Sycamore squad

Inspired by a scene in a documentary on TV about the battle of Britain. It showed German parachutists leaping out of their aircraft in their hundreds. Quite an amazing scene and at the time, a very effective strategy as they quickly overcame all opposition with very limited losses. No wonder Captain Mainwaring and the rest of the home guard worried so much about the threat of the enemy dropping in from the sky on Walmington on Sea.
