alone on a hill

Many thanks for all your kind comments, stars and hearts on my blip birthday.  I’ve now documented three years on a daily basis and think that’s enough. My plan is to reduce the number of words that accompany the photo, only post photos I’m happy with (that should mean no more blips of supermarket car parks in the rain) and allow myself some evenings without the laptop.


Today it was an 8am start again.  Up through Skelghyll Woods, past High Skelghyll Farm, down through the fields to the Low Wood Hotel and back along the road. 5+ miles and home for my mid morning cuppa. 

The main photo was taken just beyond the farm and the extra is the view across Windermere to Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam.
