Sampling Granadilla o the farm

1st June 2016:

Checked in to Katoto Primary school this morning, met the PAIR, Cella (schools inspectorate) and the school principal, all delighted to meet us.

The students later went spinning around to meet the classroom teachers, who were also welcoming. They later arranged the placement in classes.

Afternoon we all went to visit the farm in Lusangazi where there was a big                                                    welcome, as expected.

Some did a bit of watering but some just enjoyed the fruit, like passion fruit shown here.

School will be from 7am to 12, so there will be a bit of space in the afternoons.

Many want to go back to  the farm to learn more about Sustainable Farming without artificial fertiliser and no chemical pesticides, while there and sone actually want to do an overnight there, in the dark with the witches and eating local farm food!!
