Summer, in the prime

First images taken today with a new prime lens.

Practising moving to get the shot I want, or being patient and waiting for a subject to move into the frame. It will be a big learning curve I think.

But I was pleased with the wide aperture and sharpness. And six months ago I didn't really understand any of that so at least I'm moving forward.

Posted an extra too - for my own record but also appreciate comments. There's a quote that if your photos aren't good enough, you're not close enough. Maybe I was too close!
