The magic stone

This magic stone was pulled (with my bare hands) from an earthy, peaty river bank in Glencoe. I took it home and a couple of months later I stumbled upon a significant object from my childhood outside an old antique shop in Edinburgh . The object was the large wrought iron sign which used to mark the scene of the Glencoe massacre which was stolen from it's moorings in the 1970's.
The sign was then returned to its rightful place by the antique shop owner and is now back in the guardianship of the Glencoe Heritage Trust.
