High up...

... in the watchman's flat of the Marktkirche (market church) in Quedlinburg :) The last watchman lived and worked there till 1901 when he had to leave because of a fire. He had lived there with a wife, a child, chickens and a few goats.... The day started with rain, so we drove to Quedlinburg, joined the noon prayer in the market church there and had a guided tour up the church tower. Afterwards the sun came back and we visited Quedlinburg castle, met with friends and visited the Hexentanzplatz in Thale (a place where witches used to meet for dancing in the Walpurgis Night) Unfortunately, the rain was back by then. We finished the day with a yummy meal together :)
