New York-shire Blips

Hathersage swimming pool

Opened in 1936 with a Victorian feel; open air and set in the fantastic backdrop of the Peak District. Having read THE NORTHERN CLEMENCY by PHILIP HENSHER, a good but poorly edited book, in which this location is featured. It was great to experience this place first hand.
Couldn't take a picture inside, although the blip compulsion nearly got the better of me. Trusting environment with no lockers where you placed all your personal belongings out in public view. Plus, the kids loved it!
