Nice

After a poor night’s sleep in an awful budget hotel, we moved on to a slightly better standard of living – we boarded the Azamara Quest cruise ship – our “home away from home”. It was so lovely to be greeted by a few familiar faces of crew – after all, it’s only a few months since our last trip in January.

The ship has been “re-imagined” or refurbished in normal terms – and they’ve done a nice job. All the staterooms have been decorated and been given new furnishings and many of the guest areas have been updated with new furnishings or facilities.

It was a very windy day and we were quite lucky to be able to leave the tight harbour – only an hour or so late.

We had a lovely first night dinner and a surprise reunion with some people we’d met on our last cruise. Such a friendly ship this is : ))
