National Art Museum of Catalunya, Barcelona

Any city that does a hop on hop off bus gets my vote – I think they are a great way to see the main sights if you have limited time – and much cheaper than the ship’s tour!

We headed out around 10am after a hearty breakfast and were lucky enough to get seats on the open top deck of the bus. The weather was just perfect – around 70 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and a light breeze. After an hour we hopped off at the National Art Museum of Catalunya, not because we are really into art, but because it had lovely fountains and gave a great panoramic view of the city as it was on hill. We had a nice time wandering around the gardens before hopping back on the bus back to the ship.
