Across the Thames Estuary from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

Twenty or so tall ships, which had gathered across the Estuary at Gravesend, set off this morning for London and the Sail Greenwich event.

Our fun time on the mud was cut short when a mystery object left a gash in Emily's shin and we spent the afternoon at Southend Hospital having her stitched up. All fine now.
