Blue and Yellow Macaw(Ara ararauna)

Sadly, no, Oman has not got native or even visiting Blue and yellow Macaws like this magnificent specimen, this bird is being looked after by my friend after somebody found this Macaw in their garden! Nobody has come forward to lay claim to this lovely bird. Luckily it is being looked after by Jacqui & Benard who are experienced Parrot owners and know exactly how to keep this bird, fit, well, happy and mentally challenged as these species require very specialist care and knowledge. This is a very big bird that can fly(no clipped wings) and is incredibly intelligent. Somebody out here in Oman is missing a beautiful tame Macaw. This is a photo of him taken while he was preening. His feathers are truly magnificent!
