The final push

We have been building this boardwalk through the woods on and off since last May, spending some of the Park's £1m lottery grant to replace the old rotten wooden walkway with recycled plastic boards that look like wood and will not rot.  The whole path is about 500m through boggy, undulating woods. I am no carpenter, my contribution was to take photos and pull out the dreaded Himalayan Balsam from the stream banks. Today we got to within 50m of the end.
