Party Day

Pals over this afternoon for a little party for TallGirl - proper birthday tea and, obviously, a cake.  Later, a lazy dinner, some popping in and out to the terrace avoiding the showers, and then a fire.

(It was Mother's Day and I spent much of the day hoovering and cleaning.  It was pointed out that I wouldn't have had to if I'd done it yesterday.  That did not help.)

(But I did get lovely gifts from the kids.)
