Blueberry jam

Finished making the blueberry jam that I started yesterday. Made with local berries. The recipe I used (Mes Confitures by Christine Ferber) requires you to cook the berries with the other ingredients then let them sit overnight in the fridge, then cook again the next day. I used less sugar than the recipe directs so am not sure it will set as firmly but I'm glad I did this as the berries were very sweet to begin with. Looking forward to having this on my toast tomorrow!

Edit. I've just noticed there's a teensy strand of cat fuzz on the lip of the sticky jam jar. Cat fur is all part of a nutritional, balanced diet! At least in this household...
