Consolation

The departure of our visitors today. They travelled 160-ish miles and 7 degrees in temperature plus sunshine and blue skies - still missing over on this side. Bailey was definitely looking for them when we came back in from our first walk of the day. He was later gifted a new duck as consolation. 

I have had a reasonably productive day: a call to the plumber to (hopefully) sort the boiler tomorrow; three walks for Bailey; washing and ironing and bathroom cleaning and a food shop for me and for Bailey. But the weather didn't tempt me into the garden for any length of time so the new plants - and some gifted ones - will have to wait a little bit longer.
