A Walk in the Woods

Becky and Ed are organising the American Team Trials this weekend so we are here as gofers. Whilst Becky and Tony hung controls around beautiful Pond Mountain, Ed and I hiked up to take water to two different places on the courses and to place a couple of controls. Part of our route was along a short section of the Appalachian Trail so I was reminded of Bill Bryson (and less so of the bad movie starring angst ridden Robert Redford, miscast as Bill!)

Now we are comfortably ensconced in a very pretty air bnb in Millbrook relaxing prior to going out for a meal this evening and then tomorrow the excitement begins!
