Abstract Thursday 49 Random

This week our excellent host, Youoregon1, has asked us  to choose our own theme which I do find much easier than having to work to a brief.  Recently I bought some sparkly lights that will be used when we celebrate Violet's birthday next week and I did think that they would make rather good AT subjects.  So here they are!  I've layered several images in Picasa, each of which has been coloured  adjusted and distorted to varying degrees in PS.

This challenge has brought a splash of colour to Day 3 of Total  Grey Cloud Cover.  On the plus side, the temperature has risen a little and we didn't need to light the fire tonight!
