Dismal Homecoming

On the drive down to Portsmouth to catch the ferry home I stopped off at Hindhead from where there is usually a panoramic view of the Devils Punchbowl.
Not today though rain was lashing down and a freezing wind was making the place look extremely bleak.
What a difference to the colour and light of Italy. Good to be back?
