Torridonian Sandstone..
..took G to her pilates class in Clactoll today. Tanni and me walker round the coast to the broch. The rocks here are amazing, layer upon layer of red sandstone. Some layers are quite coarse and gritty, while others were made with a much finer sediment. And some of the oldest known fossils among them..
Then on to Ullapool for a bit of shopping, and a bite to eat in the new "Seafood Shack". 6 langos and salad for £7.50, bargain.. Weather a little overcast but clearing again, before becoming grey and missley. Cloudier today, and threatening rain, but will probably clear again..
