The bookworm.

It was supposed to be a day off work. That first 10 minutes in bed when you realise you have a day off and make great plans for all the selfish things you are going to do.

None of which get done.

I spent the day ferrying the girls to appointments and social events (They like it when mum's off because they get fed and watered and driven to their friends).

But we also managed to complete the sewing No 1 started. Not sure if dressmaking is her thing. She kept saying 'this is an ANGRY machine' when things got a bit out of control. Think she was pleased with the results. But because I had the thread box out - everyone else wanted something repaired or adjusted.

Here's No 2 finding a quiet spot in the evening - she loves to read.

Off to the new Transport Museum in Glasgow tomorrow for a wee day out - and a trip to my little brother and some friends !
