Big Wader

Captured while I was out birding this morning. This big wader was not big enough, as a larger great blue heron came along and chased two herons including this one from the wetland. Apparently the two smaller great blue herons were horning in on the bigger heron's territory.

The water was full of weeds, giving the appearance of graininess across the surface of the water.
