Park Life

A day out to Tatton Park in Cheshire was on the cards today and we had a lovely time wandering round the beautiful gardens. Lots of fun was had in the mansion looking at all the Roald Dahl book covers from around the world, dressing up as Matilda and generally just spotting all things Dahl.

My sister went on her first ever carousel horse ride at 53-years of age and we had a delicious cream tea before heading home.

This photo was taken overlooking the lily pond just before we got to the Japanese Garden and I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area as there is something for all ages.
