Today's the day ........................ to climb the walls

Went to the very interesting Kilmorack Gallery  today near Beauly.

It's in a converted church building and was established as a commercial  gallery in 1997 after the building was purchased by art dealer Tony Davidson.  He believed that inspirational art could sit in an inspirational building just as well as in a white cube. 

This lizard by Helen Denerley climbs up one wall.  Helen Denerley (born 1956) is a Scottish sculptor - much of her work is made from reused scrap and is inspired by the animal world.
