Sausage watch

Another beautiful evening so we went down to the beach hut. I had my first Brighton swim of the year, and very lovely it was too. We invited some friends to join us for a barbecue and they brought a bottle of fizz.

Here is Rufus strategically placed to keep an eye on comings and goings on the seafront, and comings and goings on the BBQ. He was rewarded with a sausage.

The sea was so still that lots of people were out on wakeboards - like surfboards but you stand up and proper yourself with a long paddle like a gondolier. Some even had dogs on the boards. Unfortunately couldn't get near enough to get a good shot of those!
