William...

...is a White Faced Heron who has resided on our waterfront at Lake Tarawera for many years. One of his favourite spots is the end of our jetty where we used to have a gifted sign that carried a misplaced apostrophe and read "William's Landing"...so we named him William.
About 3 times a year he has a friend for a number of days and there they were, the two of them today, basking in the golden winter sunshine.
