Naarden

On the way from Amsterdam to Wittelte we stopped off at Naarden for a few hours. Naarden is a restored fortified town dating from the 14th century. It has star shaped fortifications, including moats and bastions. There are some interesting buildings within the town too. The handsome fellow in the photo was high up on a wall of a building in the town.
