Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking

I am guessing its mother never warned it about the dangers of hitchhiking?  Or would it be skyjacking?  A grackle or possibly a crow, hitches a ride on a Great Blue Heron.  Sure wish they had been closer...

In the extras is a lovely turtle who seemed a little lost.
