Mokabon

My favourite coffee shop in Ghent is the Mokabon, it dates back to 1937 and the interior is still very 1940-1950. There are many other coffee shops, even a Starbucks next to it. And others that are trendy places to be, to work on your laptop, preferably a Mac. Even here in the Mokabon the earphones are not banned, well there is not even music playing, but most of the visitors come for the coffee, because it is still better coffee, than any other trendy fashionable place to be.
