Went to a presentation about street art run by the Tate today, before it started I saw that the tide was out and had a nice long wander down the beach of the River Thames (this picture is the underneath of the wobbly bridge). I had a nice shot of my footprints in the sand à la Robinson Crusoe but the light was better in this one.

I love to be able to walk along the beach in the heart of the city - not many people even realise it's there. The north side of the river has all the usual clay pipes, crockery and oyster shells but it also has tons and tons of animal bones (particularly cow bones) that were washed down from Spitalfields meat market in medieval times.
