Fremantle

Today we all went out for a lovely meal in the port city of Fremantle. 'Freo' (as locals call it) is known for its Victorian architecture and remnants from Australia's days as a British penal colony. The actual town is beautiful- the antique buildings are ornate and the streets buzz with buskers and street performers (much to Bens delight- he was chosen out of the crowd to be involved in a levitating trick). After a drink, we headed to the fishing boat harbour to have lunch at 'Joes fish shack' where we had a great view of all the fancy yachts outside. Ben chose the mussels- which were delicious and my snapper fish was cooked to perfection (it deserves photo of the day). After lunch we looked around the iconic Fremantle markets.
