Behind the fire surround.

I cut a hole in the back of the fireplace surround as I had a cunning plan.

Once I had the board put, I used my pocket led torch to have a look.

Gutted.

There is a huge pile of dust. The actual hole is very small and there is a random pipe that pokes in from one side.

I was playing to have my virgin box and amp on shelves in there.

It's not big enough for that. I need a back up plan. Either way the fireplace surround is going.
