An auspicious start.

It's been a long day, but it's wonderful to be back in Suffolk. And we arrived here to glorious weather. We has a. Couple of annoying diversions to contend with and we did a big food shop before arriving around 5pm. After unpacking, we had our first barbecue of the year, then did our traditional dusk walk around the Heath. The rabbits are having a good year - I've never seen so many. I also saw a red deer and a fox, lots of Yellowhammers and Linnets, and a Blackcap. We heard a Cuckoo too, very close by. This Blackbird was certainly belting it out atop the tree, beautifully lit by the golden hour sunshine
